Grand Opening
Yamazaki Mazak Singapore (YMS) will be holding its Grand Opening on 19th March 2014, the event would not only unveil the new facilities established that would value add to our services, but more importantly, to enhance customers understanding on how much more value YMS is providing to our products and services.
As Yamazaki Mazak is one of the world’s leading machine tool manufacturers, YMS has undergone enormous expansions in order to serve our customers better. The production plant boasts an area of 15,210 square meters, and the South East Asia Technology Center spans an area of 4,274 square meters
South East Asia Technology Center
The technology center are local bases established to introduce technology solutions to customers by demonstrating the latest machine, displaying the latest applications, offering advice on parts machining and also to provide training functions.
The expansion will feature the newly expanded South East Asia Technology Center which will house 14 of their latest range of CNC machine tools ranging from entry level 2 axis turning centers to complex and large 5 axis Multi-Tasking machines which are targeted at the fast growing South East Asian markets covering industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, Oil & Gas, Energy and Precision Engineering.
The new SE Asia Technology Center is equipped with an Application Training Center which offer courses in Basic & Advanced CNC programming and Hands On Training. It also has a Maintenance Training Center which serve to provide machine service and maintenance training for customers, distributers and Mazak subsidiaries in the region. There is also a Turnkey & Projects section which will provide high value added solutions and services to customers with required customized solutions for their manufacturing needs.
The expansion plans are also aligned with our long term strategy to develop new products for the Asian market.
New Facilities, Enhanced Values
A strategic business unit called “Regional Parts Center” has also been established to provide timely and comprehensive spare parts support to our customers.
The new facility also includes a CMM Inspection and Metrology Room to support for turnkeys projects.
The setup of the South East Asia Technology Center not only aims to add value to our customers, but also to continue the tradition of providing unsurpassed quality machine tools and services
